7:40am – Indian stock market expected to open higher as SGX Nifty rose 23 points to 14,682

The BSE Sensex gained 557 points closing at 48,944 on April 27, while the Nifty50 rose168 points to close at 14,635.

The Asian markets rose in the early hours in Wednesday’s trading session. Nikkei 225 climbed 0.38% and Hang Seng rose 0.17%

The US market fell on Tuesday – Tesla and 3M led the fall. S&P 500 rose 0.02% to 4186.72. The Nasdaq Composite dropped 0.34% to 14,090.220 and Dow Jones Industrial Average Index rose 0.01% to end at 33984.93.
